Mike Mahoney

Mike started his career in the mid 1970's. He attended The Citadel in Charleston, SC and continued to sell cars in the summers, making his annual tuition in two to three weeks of selling. After college Mike came into the car business and opened Mahoney Chevrolet in Indianapolis, IN in 1982. Selling the dealership in 2006 Mike started Start Recruiting and Training in 2010 to facilitate dealers attracting and training talented people into automotive sales.

Mike believes passionately that the sales floor is the beating heart of any successful dealership. He is currently expanding Start Recruitment and Training to include on-going sales-skills classes, and consulting.

Eric has 20 plus years experience in auto retail sales, auto sales management, special finance, and is an expert closer. His passion for the automotive sales process is what makes Eric's training unique, fun and real world. In the last few years Eric has helped train and place over 2200 candidates in a new career in retail automotive sales.
