Understanding The Opportunity
Something to Sell - you can come to work every day and look out one window and see millions of dollars in new cars to sell. Look out another window and see millions of dollars in used cars to sell.
Cars are no longer a luxury item reserved for the well to do but something almost everyone has and needs. Last year over 17 million new vehicles were sold, and over 40 million used cars. Subtract what you sold last year from these numbers and that is what you missed.
Some place to Sell From - You are probably sitting in a bright new showroom designed by the manufacturer that cost the dealer millions to build and maintain.
Someone to Sell To - Some dealers spend millions while others spend hundreds of thousands (depending on their circumstances) in marketing every year to drive customers to the store. Most salespeople are going to meet 45 to 55 new people a month that come in - Interested in a NEW CAR...
